Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks an experienced Engineer for the Digital Health Platform team in India. You will contribute to developing innovative solutions, enabling teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently while embracing agile practices and continuous improvement focused on customer outcomes.

You’ll collaborate across PMs, architects, and engineers, implement cloud infrastructure, ensure security and compliance, and drive feature delivery through modern CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10 years IT experience.
• Experience with installation & configuration of Kubernetes.
• Experience with IT infrastructure security and IaC: Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines: Concourse, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, etc.
• Awareness of IT cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with Linux, Deployment Operators, Helm.
• Minimum of 5 years with IaaS offerings: AWS, Azure, Google.
• Minimum of 2 years of Solutioning, Designing, and implementing applications/APIs.
• Experience in: Elastic Runtime Environments, troubleshooting, and solution recommendations.
• One or more of the following languages: Spring-Java, Go, NodeJS, .NET, and Python.
• Migration from Monolithic to micro-services; Containerization and 12-factor app delivery.
• Alerting, Logging and Monitoring solution configuration.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to assist in solution design.
• Implement defined solution design, including cloud infrastructure and resource provisioning.
• Ensure platform security and follow defined compliance processes.
• Implement new features based on customer requests.
• Embrace innovation—research and implement new capabilities to improve efficiencies, customer experience, and platform offerings.
• Assist internal platform users with problem resolution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to present ideas to an audience with a broad range ofexperience

• Experience developing software within a regulated environment in the medicalindustry
• Familiarity with common healthcare systems integrationsand regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with relational and non-SQL, Event Driven Architectures/messagingand process orchestration
