Job summary

Sealed Air in Mumbai is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Engineer to lead Defender for Endpoint, Purview data protection, and identity security controls across the enterprise. You will implement and maintain conditional access, encryption, and baseline security configurations to protect corporate information.

You will collaborate with Information Security, Infrastructure, Networking and Service Desk teams, automate processes, monitor security posture, and drive remediation.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Defender for Endpoint and endpoint security best practices.
• Experience with vulnerability management, security baselines and BitLocker.
• Knowledge of Entra ID Conditional Access and modern identity security controls.
• Experience with Intune, SCCM, Autopilot and cross‑platform endpoints.
• Ability to automate endpoint management, compliance enforcement, reporting.

Responsibilities

• Endpoint Security Management: Administer and support Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender Vulnerability Management, endpoint protection policies, attack surface reduction rules, security baselines, and endpoint security controls across the enterprise.
• Identity & Access Security: Implement and maintain Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access policies, including device compliance integrations and device-based access controls to support the organization’s Zero Trust security strategy.
• Data Protection & Information Security: Implement and support Microsoft Purview capabilities including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint DLP, Sensitivity Labels, Information Protection, and data governance controls to safeguard corporate information.
• Compliance & Security Posture Management: Monitor endpoint compliance, vulnerability exposure, security recommendations, and remediation activities. Partner with Information Security teams to ensure endpoint environments align with company security standards and regulatory requirements.
• Unified Endpoint Management (UEM): Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune and related technologies. Maintain device configurations, compliance policies, security settings, and management standards across Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
• Device Enrollment & Configuration: Support device provisioning and enrollment processes through Microsoft Autopilot and other enrollment methods while ensuring security and compliance requirements are met.
• Policy & Profile Management: Maintain device management, compliance, and security policies. Manage operating system updates, patching, configuration profiles, and endpoint standards.
• Endpoint Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to endpoint security, device management, compliance controls, application deployment, and user access.
• Automation & Process Improvement: Automate security, compliance, reporting, and endpoint management processes to improve operational efficiency and consistency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Information Security, Infrastructure, Networking, EUE, and Service Desk teams to implement security controls, remediate vulnerabilities, and improve endpoint security posture.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor endpoint health, compliance status, security posture, threat exposure, and vulnerability remediation efforts. Develop reporting and metrics to support operational and security objectives.

What are we looking for in you?

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Endpoint Security Expertise: Strong experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, endpoint protection technologies, vulnerability management, security baselines, BitLocker, attack surface reduction, and endpoint security best practices.
• Identity & Access Management: Experience supporting Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, multifactor authentication, device compliance policies, and modern identity security controls.
• Data Protection: Experience with Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint DLP, Sensitivity Labels, and information protection technologies.
• Endpoint Management: Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, Autopilot, and endpoint management practices across Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Security Operations: Experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and remediating endpoint security and compliance issues within enterprise environments.
• Automation & Scripting: Ability to automate endpoint management, compliance enforcement, reporting, and administrative tasks using modern tools and scripting technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Group Policy, and other Windows services.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, device compliance, and endpoint security controls.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Purview capabilities, including Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Endpoint DLP, and Information Protection.
• Experience collaborating with Information Security teams to implement and maintain endpoint security best practices.
• Ability to monitor endpoint health, security posture, compliance status, and vulnerability remediation activities across cloud and on-premises environments.
