Job summary

ClearRoute Limited seeks a Senior Platform Engineer to own and evolve a shared Azure platform used by multiple AI delivery teams. You will set platform direction and guide engineers, ensuring secure, scalable environments.

The role demands 8+ years in platform or cloud infrastructure, hands-on Azure Entra ID, VNets, Terraform at production scale, and strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps. Mentoring and roadmap input are key expectations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in platform, cloud or infrastructure engineering with recent senior-level ownership.
• Strong hands-on Azure: Entra ID/identity, VNets/networking, policy and governance.
• Terraform is mandatory, at production scale, including writing reusable modules.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps.
• Kubernetes (AKS) and/or Azure container services.
• Observability tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, OpenTelemetry, etc.).
• Has supported several delivery teams in parallel and can make and defend platform decisions.

Role

You’ll own and evolve a shared Azure platform that several AI and agentic delivery teams build on. This role requires 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, cloud infrastructure, That covers identity, networking, CI/CD, observability and environment management, so teams can ship quickly and safely. You’ll set platform direction, make the key design calls and guide the engineers around you.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and own shared Azure platform services used by several delivery teams
• Lead infrastructure-as-code with Terraform: reusable modules, standards and clean, repeatable environments
• Build CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps) and golden paths for delivery teams
• Define identity, networking, security and governance baselines
• Set up observability (logs, metrics, traces) and operational tooling
• Work with Tech Leads on their platform needs and trade-offs, and steer the platform roadmap
• Mentor engineers and review their designs and code

Required Experience

• 8+ years in platform, cloud or infrastructure engineering, with recent senior-level ownership
• Strong hands-on Azure: Entra ID/identity, VNets/networking, policy and governance
• Terraform is mandatory, at production scale, including writing reusable modules
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps
• Kubernetes (AKS) and/or Azure container services
• Observability tools (Azure Monitor, App Insights, OpenTelemetry, etc.)
• Has supported several delivery teams in parallel and can make and defend platform decisions

Desirable Experience

• Bicep, as well as Terraform
• Platform engineering for AI / ML / LLM workloads on Azure
• Experience building internal developer platforms or golden paths
• Consulting or client-embedded delivery background
