Senior Platform Engineer

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India

AXA XL is creating a new delivery model based on agile practices and a vendor model to enable more efficient technology delivery, with the business fully embedded in our processes. This Digital Factory will initially deliver new capabilities for Fusion Transformation and subsequently expand to other capabilities within Global Technology (GT). As a Senior Platform Engineer, your role is crucial in maintaining and optimizing the reliability, availability, and performance of our Salesforce platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless user experience and contribute to our overall business success.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules within Salesforce.
  • Manage user accounts, profiles, and permission sets to ensure optimal access and security.
  • Handle data import/export, maintenance, cleanup, and deduplication.
  • Administer Salesforce, including user management, security, and workflows.
  • Support application incidents and assist support teams in issue resolution.
  • Optimize Salesforce platform performance, security, and audits.
  • Implement Salesforce AI capabilities (advantageous).
  • Implement system integrations.
  • Support SSO, certificates, backup & recovery, and encryption issues.
  • Monitor transactions and performance using Dynatrace, including event logging.
  • Support penetration testing requirements.
  • Manage privileged and non-privileged user access via CyberArk and Aveksa.
  • Rotate service/integration account credentials regularly and explore automation via Azure KeyVault.
  • Perform non-release changes based on requirements and approvals.
  • Apply Salesforce Optimizer recommendations for performance and security improvements.
  • Maintain automated deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
  • Ensure efficient deployment across Salesforce environments.
  • Automate business processes with Salesforce Process Builder, Workflow, and Flow.
  • Create reports and dashboards for insights into sales, marketing, and customer service.
  • Collaborate with departments to tailor Salesforce solutions.
  • Provide user support, training, and documentation.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other business systems.
  • Maintain data security and compliance.
  • Document configuration changes and customizations.

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce tools, data management, and reporting.
  • Understanding of Salesforce architecture and deployment.
  • Knowledge of security features and best practices.
  • Ability to analyze and design solutions for complex business processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Project management experience with Salesforce projects.
  • Attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Collaborative attitude and continuous learning mindset.

Must Have: Senior Salesforce Admin/Developer experience, Dynatrace, CommVault, Shield Encryption, Azure Key Vault, SSO, CyberArk.
