Job summary

SciPlay Corporation is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer in Bengaluru to design, build, and evolve internal platform capabilities supporting game development teams. You will balance quick wins with long-term improvements and own critical reliability and scalability initiatives.

You will work across infrastructure, backend services, and tooling, collaborating with multiple teams to improve developer experience and delivery velocity. The role is hybrid with in-office days in Bangalore.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of software engineering experience with platform, infrastructure, or DevOps focus.
• Strong product mindset with a passion for improving developer experience.
• Experience building and operating distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least one backend language (C#, Go, Python, or Typescript).
• Hands-on experience with AWS and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Nice to Have: experience with game development teams; internal developer platforms or large-scale tooling; knowledge of security, compliance, or platform governance.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal developer platform capabilities (CI/CD, environments, observability, infrastructure).
• Identify and resolve developer pain points through data, feedback, and hands-on investigation.
• Develop shared services, tools, and components to improve development speed and quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and drive improvements.
