The Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC) is looking for a qualified candidate to join their Systems Engineering team in Hyderabad, India. This role involves installation and support of tax applications, including Vertex O-Series and VAT Compliance, as well as contributing to system reliability and efficiency.

The Impact You Will Have In This Role

The Systems Engineering family is responsible for the entire technical effort to evolve and verify solutions that satisfy client needs. The primary focus is centered on reducing risk and improving the efficiency, performance, stability, security, and quality of all systems and platforms. The Platform Hosting & Engineering role specializes in the development, implementation, and support of all distributed, mainframe, and network hosting services across the firm. Responsible for the installation, configuration, programming, and support of operating systems, complex networks, and distributed environments, deploying solutions to increase overall system reliability across the firm.

Your Primary Responsibilities

• As part of the IT team, you will work with your users from the Tax team to support all upcoming initiatives.
• Contribute to the installation and configuration of Vertex Oseries and Vertex VAT Compliance.
• Assist in the support of production issues related to assigned areas.
• Participate in weekend implementations and Disaster Recovery tests as required.
• Draft system documentation and supporting documents to ensure transparency of design to minimize future maintenance costs.
• Participate in the delivery of targeted business outcomes by informing the technical decision‑making process.
• Follow established DTCC requirements, principles and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise (best practices).
• Follow the governance, standards and best practices established by DTCC.
• Contribute to solutions that enable infrastructure agility, scalability, and resilience to support required product needs throughout product lifecycle.
• Align risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
