Job summary

Cococlu in Bengaluru seeks a Senior Planning and Inventory Manager to drive inventory decisions and key supply chain initiatives for its fast-growing e-commerce business. You will develop and execute best practices to maximize sales margin, improve inventory turns, and ensure systems meet business needs.

Your day-to-day includes demand planning, inventory health, defining operational strategy, managing vendor relationships, and driving efficiency through replenishment and process improvements.

The ingredients for this role:

Senior Planning and Inventory Manager will be responsible for driving inventory decisions and key supply chain
initiatives for CocoBlu’s fast-growing business. They will be responsible for developing and executing best
practices in managing inventory to maximize sales margin, and inventory turns. They will have the responsibility of
ensuring all inventory systems and processes are meeting the needs of the business and implementing controls around
these processes.

Your day-today tasks will include:

• Demand Planning-
  • Determining the order quantities by considering forecasts, historical trends and inventory targets.
• Inventory Management–
  • Manage inventory availability and inventory health including improved in-stock, turns, vendor
    operational improvement (efficiency, fill rates, lead time) and forecasting.
• Define Operational strategy-
  • Responsible for defining Operational strategy & Manage day-to-day operational relationships with
    vendors and distributors partners, including product lifecycle management, expanding selection and
    optimize sourcing recommendations / decisions.
• Drive metrics to improve efficiency including inventory replenishment, managing overstock inventory, and
  operational processes.
• Manage Brands-
  • Maintain vendor relationship and work on vendor performance improvement through daily communication,
    training session, tracking purchase orders, investigating late deliveries, resolving order rejections,
    working with vendors on PO automation, etc.

Knowledge you need-

• Be an Automation Champion by advocating for better buying tools.
• Experience working with high preforming teams.
• Good organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
• Building mechanisms that help navigate teams in a demanding and often ambiguous environment.

Required Skills-

Education & Work Experience:

• Full-Time MBA from Tier 1 institutions.
• 1-5 years of experience and proven track record of managing and executing large projects from start to finish,
  including project management, data gathering and modelling, problem solving, and communicating recommendations.
• Ideal candidate has worked in Softlines in Ecommerce/Retail background.
