Job description

We are looking to hire a talented Senior PHP developer to manage our back-end services and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Responsibilities

• Conducting analysis of website and application requirements
• Writing well designed, testable, efficient PHP modules by using best development practices
• Integrating data from various back-end services and databases
• Troubleshooting application and code issues
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
• Responding to integration requests from front-end developers
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities

Qualifications

• A minimum of 2 – 4 years experience in web development
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field
• Knowledge of PHP web frameworks including Laravel, Symphony, CakePHP or CodeIgniter
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases
• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices
• Good problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
• Proficient with code versioning tools like Git or SVN
