SENIOR PHOTOGRAPHER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Photographer cum Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of photography and videography for our brand.

Role & responsibilities

Photography and Videography:

• Conduct and oversee model photoshoots, flat lay shoots, and product photography (both video and image format).
• Capture high-quality images and videos that accurately represent our products.
• Ensure proper lighting setups for different types of shoots, including studio and on-location shoots.

Editing and Color Grading:

• Perform post-processing tasks including retouching, color correction, and grading of images and videos.
• Use software such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Light room, Capture One, After Effects, and other relevant tools to achieve desired results.
• Maintain consistency in style and quality across all visual content.
• Create compelling Banners for the website and ensure that it is updated periodically.

Studio Management:

• Manage the e-commerce catalogue studio, ensuring all the product images are properly shot, edited, organized and uploaded.
• Set up and adjust lighting and camera equipment to achieve optimal results for each shoot.

Team Training and Development:

• Provide training and guidance to the photography team on techniques, lighting setups, and post-processing.
• Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for photography, lighting, and editing processes.

Coordination and Collaboration:

• Work closely with showroom executives and heads of departments to arrange products for photography.
• Coordinate with the marketing team to ensure timely launch of collections on the website and social media.
• Create engaging content for social media, including reels and stories, to attract and retain the right audience.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure all visual content meets the brands standards and guidelines.
• Conduct quality checks on all outputs to maintain a high level of consistency and professionalism.

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial photography and videography, preferably in the fashion or retail industry.
• Proficiency in photography and editing software including Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, After Effects, and other major tools.
• Strong understanding of lighting techniques, color grading, and post-processing.
• Experience in conducting various types of photoshoots, including model and flat lay shoots.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and creative vision.
• Ability to train and mentor team members.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of social media trends and best practices for engaging content creation.
