Job summary

FORVIA HELLA, a global automotive supplier, is seeking an experienced CyberSecurity Engineer in Gurugram to join an international team. The role covers planning, building and running group-wide CyberSecurity infrastructure with diverse stakeholders and external partners.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in the field, strong OSI-layer networking knowledge, Linux/Windows operations, automation and scripting, and hands-on perimeter security experience.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in the domain.
• Strong networking knowledge across OSI layers.
• Knowledge of network and cybersecurity standards, incl. firewall virtualization.
• Experience in build and daily operations.
• OS: Windows and Linux.
• Experience with Linux installation/configuration/operation.
• Automation and scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience operating perimeter security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Act as an accountable, autonomous member in an international CyberSecurity team.
• Support lifecycle of CyberSecurity infrastructure (Plan/Build/Run).
• Provide technical CyberSecurity expertise for internal and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate tasks with external service providers and partners.
• Review and improve CyberSecurity systems and processes.
• Contribute to CyberSecurity standards and policies.
• Advise on new products and solutions within scope.
• Facilitate PoCs and pilot installations.
• Design new solutions/products/technologies.
• Define requirements and manage inter-solution dependencies.

YOUR TASKS

• Become and act as an accountable, autonomous and open-minded member in an international Team of CyberSecurity Engineers with global responsibilities
• Support the whole lifecycle of the group-wide CyberSecurity infrastructure and technologies (Plan/Build/Run)
• Take an active role in global projects and provide technical CyberSecurity expertise for internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and coordinate tasks and topics with external service providers, partners and integrators
• Review and develop further the CyberSecurity systems/infrastructures and processes
• Take part in the creation/review and improvement of CyberSecurity standards and policies
• Providing strategic and tactical advice for new and existing product and solutions related to the scope of responsibility
• Facilitate the implementation of PoCs and pilot installations
• Design new solutions/products/technologies
• Define and check the necessary requirements and resolve interactions and dependencies between the solutions/products/technologies

Your Qualifications

• More then 8 years of experience in the domain
• Profound knowledge of networking technologies throughout all layers of the ISO-/OSI-model, not leaving out highly developed troubleshooting and debugging skills on network level
• Extended knowledge of state of the art network- and CyberSecurity-standards and technologies including firewall virtualtization
• Experience in the build and the daily operations ("Operations")
• Knowledge in OS (Windows/Linux)
• Knowledge in installation/configuration/operation of Linux systems
• Knowledge in automation / scripting
• Hands on experience in operating perimeter security infrastructure
