Job summary

Amadeus Software Labs India Private Limited in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Performance Engineer to design and execute performance tests, identify bottlenecks, and optimize system performance across complex applications.

You will work with Gatling, monitor with Datadog/Splunk/Prometheus/Dynatrace, and support SQL databases including MySQL, while aligning with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git/GitHub.

Job description

Senior Performance Engineer

• Collaborate with clients to define performance testing objectives and requirements.


• Design, develop, and execute performance tests including load, stress, and scalability using tools such as Gatling (Scala-based).


• Analyze application behavior under different conditions to identify performance bottlenecks and propose improvements.


• Utilize monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, Prometheus, Dynatrace) to track application performance metrics.


• Support database performance optimization (including MySQL) by identifying slow queries and improving response times.


• Conduct API performance testing using RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.


• Work within CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) environments using Jenkins and Git/GitHub.


• Communicate test results and provide recommendations in collaboration with stakeholders.


• Contribute to process evolution and test automation initiatives for new technologies and architectures.

Your Profile

• Experience in performance testing and analysis in complex application environments.


• Understanding of application architecture and performance-related requirements.


• Familiarity with performance engineering tools and scripting (e.g., Gatling, or similar).


• Knowledge of API testing methods and tools.


• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools.


• Experience with SQL databases and performance monitoring (MySQL or similar).


• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.


• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in team settings.
