Job summary

Mantras2Success Consultants is seeking an experienced Performance Testing Engineer to design and execute load, stress, and scalability tests for cloud-native serverless apps using AWS Lambda and related tools.

The role focuses on identifying bottlenecks, monitoring via CloudWatch and other APM tools, and embedding performance testing into CI/CD pipelines with close collaboration across Development and SRE teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Performance Testing/Performance Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS and serverless technologies, especially AWS Lambda.
• Experience with performance monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Strong understanding of serverless performance, scalability, concurrency, and resource optimisation.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar scripting/programming languages.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, API testing, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in serverless performance monitoring and CI/CD integration.

Responsibilities

• Use AWS CloudWatch, Lambda Insights, Datadog, New Relic, or similar tools for performance monitoring.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines and work closely with Development and SRE teams.
• Create performance dashboards, reports, and optimisation recommendations.
• Support API, microservices, and large-scale serverless load testing.
