Job summary

Religent Systems in Hyderabad, India seeks a senior Pega Developer to design, build, test, and deploy enterprise applications using Pega PRPC and Infinity 8.x+. You will drive architecture discussions, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to Guardrails while collaborating across BAs, architects, QA, and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of hands-on Pega development, extensive experience with Case Management, Data Pages, and REST/SOAP services, plus CI/CD and cloud exposure.

Qualifications

• 8 to 12 years IT experience with at least 6 years hands-on Pega development.
• Strong expertise in Pega Infinity 8.x / Pega Platform across modules.
• Experience with REST/SOAP web services and API integrations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using Pega PRPC/Infinity (8.x+).
• Deliver scalable solutions with Case Management, Data Pages, Flows, Rules, UI and Business Rules.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical solutions aligned to business needs.
• Perform code reviews and ensure Pega Guardrails and best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize performance.
• Mentor juniors and share knowledge within the team.
• Participate in SDLC activities and Agile ceremonies.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications using Pega PRPC / Pega Infinity (8.x and above).
• Develop scalable solutions using Case Management, Data Pages, Flows, Decision Rules, UI, and Business Rules.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST, SOAP, Connectors, Services, Kafka, JMS, and external APIs.
• Participate in architecture discussions and provide technical solutions aligned with business requirements.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega Guardrails and development best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing within the team.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Prepare technical design documents and maintain project documentation.

Required Skills

• 8 to 12 years of overall IT experience with 6+ years of hands‑on Pega development.
• Strong experience with Pega Infinity 8.x / Pega Platform.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, or GitHub.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Pega Cloud) is an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Pega Customer Service (CS), KYC, Smart Dispute, or other Pega frameworks.
• Experience with Kafka, Microservices, and event-driven architecture.
• Exposure to OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Java is an added advantage.
