Job summary

Proso AI, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Lead to guide implementations, enhancements, upgrades, and production support for Oracle EBS Financials.

The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years in EBS Financials, strong functional expertise across core Finance modules, and the ability to collaborate with CFOs, finance leaders, and delivery teams. CA or Semi CA with hands-on EBS experience is strongly preferred, with proven leadership to mentor consultants

Qualifications

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Finance Lead to lead and support Oracle EBS Financials implementations, enhancements, upgrades, rollouts, and production support engagements.

The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of experience in Oracle EBS Financials, strong functional expertise across core Finance modules, and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders, finance leadership, technical teams, and delivery teams.

A qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) / Semi CA with hands-on Oracle EBS experience will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

Oracle EBS Finance Leadership

• Lead Oracle EBS Financials functional workstreams across implementation, rollout, enhancement, upgrade, migration, and support projects.
• Act as the Finance functional SME and primary point of contact for business stakeholders.
• Own functional requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, issue resolution, and deployment activities.
• Translate business and finance requirements into scalable Oracle EBS solutions.
• Provide functional leadership to consultants and junior team members.
• Review functional deliverables and ensure adherence to project and quality standards.

Oracle EBS Financials

Strong hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas is required:

• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management (CM)
• Financial Accounting
• Tax / GST
• Intercompany Accounting
• Bank Reconciliation
• Period Close / Year-End Close
• Financial Reporting

Experience with Oracle EBS R12 is strongly preferred.

Functional Consulting

• Conduct business requirement workshops with Finance and business teams.
• Prepare BRDs, functional specifications, process flows, solution designs, and test scenarios.
• Configure Oracle EBS Finance modules based on business requirements.
• Identify gaps between standard Oracle functionality and business requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work with technical teams on integrations, reports, interfaces, conversions, workflows, and customizations.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, deployment, and post-production stabilization.
• Perform root-cause analysis for complex production issues.

Finance & Business Process Expertise

The candidate should demonstrate a strong understanding of financial processes including:

• Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
• Order-to-Cash (O2C)
• Record-to-Report (R2R)
• Fixed Assets
• Intercompany accounting
• Month-end and year-end closing
• Financial consolidation
• Taxation and statutory reporting
• Financial controls and reconciliations

Stakeholder & Delivery Management

• Work directly with CFO/Finance leadership, Controllers, Finance Managers, and business process owners.
• Lead functional discussions and provide recommendations based on Oracle EBS capabilities and finance best practices.
• Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and other functional/technical workstreams.
• Manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and functional deliverables.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Oracle EBS consultants.
