Qrata Pvt. Ltd. in Bengaluru is seeking a senior nutritionist to lead product science and regulatory efforts across the innovation pipeline. You will create unique formulations, drive clinical efficacy, ensure regulatory compliance, and translate nutrition science into consumer-friendly communication.

The role requires 5–6 years of hands-on experience in nutrition, dietetics, or food science, with strong knowledge of FSSAI guidelines and substantiation. D2C/wellness brand experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in nutrition, dietetics, or related fields.
• 5–6 years of proven experience as a practicing nutritionist or product science specialist.
• Strong knowledge of FSSAI regulatory guidelines, claims, and labels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to simplify nutrition science for consumers.
• Experience in a D2C, wellness, or consumer brand environment is a plus.
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead product science across the innovation pipeline and build differentiated formulations.
• Serve as the in-house expert on regulatory standards (FSSAI, claims, labels).
• Collaborate with marketing to translate nutrition science into consumer-friendly communications.
• Represent the brand in external scientific forums and build health expert partnerships.
• Guide the customer experience team in addressing product-specific scientific queries.

role overview:

we are looking for a senior nutritionist to lead our product science and regulatory efforts across our innovation pipeline. in this role, you will be responsible for creating unique product formulations, driving clinical efficacy, leading regulatory compliance, and translating complex nutrition science into simple consumer-facing communication.

key responsibilities:

• product science & formulation: lead product science across the innovation pipeline; build unique, differentiated product formulations focused on clinical efficacy.
• regulatory compliance: serve as the in-house expert on regulatory standards (fssai, claims, labels); train, guide, and hold the team accountable for compliance matters.
• science communication: collaborate with marketing to create, test, and scale easy-to-understand product science and nutrition communication.
• brand representation & partnerships: represent the brand across external scientific and industry forums (e.g., ida, pfndai, ilsi); build affiliate networks with health experts and nutritionists.
• customer engagement support: guide the customer experience team in resolving product-specific scientific and nutritional queries.
