We design and manufacture enterprise wireless, switching and network infrastructure, and deploy and support it end to end from Mumbai. The Network Engineer (L2) role focuses on deployment, senior technical assistance, and architecture reviews. The ideal candidate holds a CS/IT/Electronics degree, CCNA/Network+ certification is preferred, with 4+ years in network projects or support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in network projects, support or Networking helpdesk environment.
• Good understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN.

Responsibilities

• Active involvement in Network Deployment and Customer Coordination.
• Providing Senior level technical support for network-related issues.
• Involvement in the Network Architecture and Reviews.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot basic connectivity problems.

Job Description

The Network Engineer (L2) is responsible for

A. Active Involvement in Network Deployment and Customer Coordination.

B. Providing Senior level technical support for network-related issues.

D. Involvement in the Network Architecutre and Reviews

This role involves a mix of Network Project Deployments and Tech Support, monitoring network performance, troubleshooting basic connectivity problems, and escalating complex issues to higher-level support teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimal system performance.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.

Relevant networking certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, etc.) are preferred.

4+ years of experience in network projects, support or Networking helpdesk environment.

Experience in handling tickets and working in an SLA-based environment is an advantage.

Good understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN.

Knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.

Good Knowledge of routers, switches, and firewalls.

Basic troubleshooting skills for network connectivity issues.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Good analytical thinking ability.

Basic documentation skills.

Good verbal and written communication skills.
