The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API development, with a strong focus on building scalable backend systems, writing efficient database queries, and collaborating seamlessly with frontend teams. This is an individual contributor role where technical ownership, problem-solving, and delivering high-quality solutions are critical. Location: Kolkata • Job Type: full-time.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API.
• Build and optimize complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and functions in MS SQL Server for efficient data processing.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and seamless user experiences.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and performance tuning to maintain high code quality and reliability.
• Ensure backend systems are secure, maintainable, and aligned with best development practices.
• Contribute to Agile development processes including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently while improving system performance.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Web API.
• Strong expertise in MS SQL Server, including query optimization, stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Solid understanding of backend architecture, API design, and system integration principles.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and contributing effectively to team sprints.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with frontend technologies such as JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, or frameworks like Angular/React.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation practices.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles to enhance API usability and integration.

Educational Qualifications
