Job summary

Lever, Inc. is partnered to hire a .NET Developer based in India for a remote contract role focused on backend services, Web APIs, and production support using C# and .NET technologies.

You will collaborate with DevOps, QA, and infrastructure teams, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure stability, security, and performance of business-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience developing applications with C# and .NET.
• Practical experience with .NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Solid understanding of Web APIs, backend development, and web application architecture.
• Excellent debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting applications in production environments and resolving technical incidents.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build and maintain Web APIs, web applications, and backend services that meet functional, performance, and reliability requirements.
• Troubleshoot application issues, investigate errors, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
• Provide production and application support, responding to technical incidents and resolving them within required timelines.
• Perform debugging, implement code fixes, and investigate performance bottlenecks to improve application stability.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on build, deployment, release, and application maintenance activities.
• Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate consistent and efficient software delivery.
• Use Azure DevOps or similar platforms and Git for source control, build management, deployments, and team collaboration.
• Monitor application behavior, analyze logs, and investigate deployment failures and production incidents.
• Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures to reduce recurring issues.
• Work closely with developers, QA engineers, DevOps specialists, infrastructure teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Follow established development, security, deployment, and production support best practices.
• Document technical solutions, troubleshooting procedures, and support processes to improve knowledge sharing and operational efficiency.

Join a remote technology team as a .NET Developer, contributing to the development, maintenance, and reliability of business-critical applications. In this contract role, you will combine hands-on software engineering with production support to ensure applications remain stable, secure, and performant. You will build and enhance backend services, web applications, and APIs using C# and .NET technologies while diagnosing and resolving technical issues. Working closely with development, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams, you will also contribute to deployment processes and continuous integration and delivery workflows.
