Job summary

Tricog Health in Bengaluru, India is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to lead the iOS facet of a Flutter-based mobile app for healthcare, building responsive, data-dense UI and owning releases. Qualifications

• 4+ years building production mobile apps, with 2+ years hands-on in native iOS (Swift).
• Hands-on Flutter experience with a good understanding of Flutter architecture.
• Experience building custom UI components on iOS.
• Strong multi-threading knowledge on iOS (Swift Concurrency and/or GCD).
• Experience diagnosing memory leaks, retain cycles, and performance issues using profiling tools.
• Experience integrating third-party libraries and SDKs.
• Experience independently releasing and maintaining apps on the App Store.
• Working knowledge of Android fundamentals and app lifecycle.
• Strong programming fundamentals, OOP, and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable taking ownership and driving to completion.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to build mobile applications used in real-world healthcare environments. A significant part of the work is building custom UI components that are accurate, responsive, and reliable under continuous, real-time data. You'll own the iOS side of a Flutter application and work closely with product, design, backend, and QA to take features from idea to release.

What We're Looking For/Must To Have

• 4+ years of experience building production mobile applications, with at least 2 years hands‑on in native iOS (Swift).
• Hands‑on experience in Flutter. Good understanding of flutter architecture.
• Experience building custom UI components on iOS, rather than only composing standard ones.
• Good understanding of multi-threading and concurrency on iOS (Swift Concurrency and/or GCD).
• Experience diagnosing and fixing memory leaks, retain cycles, and performance issues using Instruments or similar tools.
• Experience integrating third‑party libraries and SDKs.
• Experience independently releasing and maintaining apps on the App Store.
• Working knowledge of Android fundamentals and app lifecycle.
• Strong programming fundamentals, OOPS, and problem‑solving ability.
• Comfortable taking ownership of a problem and driving it to completion.

Nice to Have

• Exposure to regulated environments such as healthcare or medical devices.
• Experience integrating external hardware or peripherals (Bluetooth / USB devices).
• Experience creating frameworks.
• Experience building desktop applications with Flutter.
• Understanding of backend APIs and cloud services.
