Thinkproject is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer (React Native) to lead development for Android and iOS platforms. You will mentor teammates, drive mobile projects end-to-end, and ensure scalable, high-quality applications. Prior experience with Xamarin/NET MAUI is a plus.

What your day will look like

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Mobile Developer (f/m/d) with deep expertise in React Native and proven experience delivering high-quality mobile applications across both Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor who can also mentor others, lead mobile projects end-to-end, and ensure scalable, performant, and user-friendly solutions. Prior experience with Xamarin or .NET MAUI will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of mobile applications using React Native.
• Optimize application performance for maximum speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code with a focus on clean, maintainable architecture.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and libraries to extend application functionality.
• Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies and proactively recommend improvements.
• Conduct code reviews, debug issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Develop and maintain unit tests to ensure functionality and stability.
• Oversee compliance with App Store and Google Play guidelines and manage release processes.

What you need to fulfill the role

• 7- 9 years of experience in mobile application development, including 4+ years in React Native.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Proven track record of deploying apps on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Prior experience with Xamarin / .NET MAUI and any native mobile development (Java/Kotlin or Swift/Objective-C).
• App Distribution & Analytics: TestFlight, Google Play Console, AppCenter.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, third‑party integrations, and server‑side technologies.
• Experience with Azure, ADO, and CI/CD pipelines
• Solid grasp of mobile architecture, UI/UX principles, and best coding practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to Have

• Cloud Backends: Knowhow of Firebase, AWS Amplify or Azure Mobile Apps.
• UI/UX Design Systems: Figma, Material Design, Apple HI

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capable of mentoring team members and guiding code quality standards.
• Ownership mindset: able to take features from design to deployment independently.
