Thinkproject is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to shape and evolve our PLATFORM portal with a focus on modern, scalable frontend apps and AI-enhanced development.

You will work in an international, cross-functional team, collaborating with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, QA, and Backend Engineers to deliver high-quality features and robust BFF-backed frontend solutions.

Qualifications

7+ years of software development experience with a frontend focus.
Proven experience building modern frontend applications for SaaS using React and TypeScript.
Experience contributing to Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services with C# .NET.
Strong React ecosystem knowledge (Redux, Redux Toolkit, React Router).
Knowledge of frontend architecture, component-based design, state management, and best practices.
Experience building reusable component libraries and accessible UIs.
Hands-on with Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, and Docker; familiar with CI/CD and cloud-native practices.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools to enhance workflows.
Experience in agile environments using Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend apps and reusable UI components for the PLATFORM portal (React/TypeScript).
Contribute to BFF services in C# .NET to support frontend functionality and backend integration.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to translate requirements into solutions.

What your day will look like

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to help shape and evolve our PLATFORM portal. In this role, you will drive the development of modern, scalable frontend applications while also contributing to our Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services built with C# .NET. Your primary focus will be frontend engineering, creating intuitive, high-performance user experiences, with the opportunity to work across the frontend/backend boundary where it adds value.

You will work as part of an international, cross-functional agile team, collaborating closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Engineers to deliver high-quality features. As a senior engineer, you will influence technical direction, champion engineering best practices, and help continuously improve our architecture, development processes, and technology stack. We embrace AI-assisted software development and encourage engineers to leverage modern AI tools responsibly to increase productivity, improve code quality, and accelerate innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain modern frontend applications and reusable UI components for our PLATFORM portal using React and TypeScript.
Contribute to Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services built with C# .NET to support frontend functionality and simplify integration with backend systems.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, and Engineers to understand business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions.
Build clean, maintainable, well-tested, and scalable software following engineering best practices.
Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, code quality, testing, documentation, and engineering workflows while applying sound engineering judgment.
Support deployment, monitoring, and operation of applications in production, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues across frontend applications and BFF services.
Optimize applications for performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
Drive continuous improvements in architecture, development processes, tooling, and engineering standards.
Mentor other engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.

What you need to fulfill the role

Required Skills & Qualifications

Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on frontend engineering.
Proven experience building modern frontend applications for SaaS products using React and TypeScript.
Experience contributing to Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) services using C# .NET.
Strong expertise in the React ecosystem, including Redux, Redux Toolkit, and React Router.
Excellent understanding of frontend architecture, component-based design, state management, and modern engineering practices.
Experience building reusable component libraries and responsive, accessible user interfaces.
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, Git, and Docker.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native development practices.
Experience working with AI-assisted development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or OpenCode) to enhance software engineering workflows.
Experience working in agile software development environments using Scrum or Kanban.
