Job summary

Valeo India Private Limited seeks an Engineer / Senior Engineer - Mechanical Simulation to build FEM models, set up cases in ANSYS Workbench, and report results. You will be autonomous in meshing tools and simulation workflows, and ensure mechanical behaviour is validated against measurements.

You will apply standard simulation methods within the CAE process, participate in reviews, and communicate findings clearly to support design decisions.

Qualifications

• ME/M.Tech in mechanical engineering.
• 2-3 years of professional experience in automotive/mechanical industry.
• Experience with FEM, ANSYS Workbench, CATIA, meshing and simulations.

Responsibilities

• Apply FEM model building, case setup (Ansys Workbench) and reporting.
• Ensure quality of meshing and simulations for non-linear, vibration, fatigue, thermo-mechanical, and multi-physics.
• Validate design solutions against measurements.
• Present simulation results in project reviews to support decisions.
• Develop standard CAE processes and reports.

Responsibilities

• Apply FEM model building, case set up (Ansys Workbench) and reporting
• Responsible for the quality of the meshing model according to standard check list and simulation request for Non-Linear , Vibration, fatigue, thermo mechanical, and multi physics fields
• To apply a standard simulation method based on the developing CAE process.
• To apply a standard simulation report for project risk analysis.
• Validate the design solutions and correlates the calculations to the measurements
• Perform Vibration simulations using engineering analysis tools with clear focus on design and development as an individual contributor
• Participate in product and project reviews to ensure high quality in simulation method and accuracy of results
• Present simulation results in project reviews to drive decision making process
• Effective communication of results and issues verbally as well as in written reports form.
• Establishing correlations and validations
• Other tasks assigned by N+1 from time to time are linked to measurement efficiency.
• Capitalization & standardization: Supporting methodology development and simulation tools applications.
• Participate to definition of the best practices and methodologies improvement for current method
• Store report in TMT and participate in QRQC resolution
• To apply the procedures and Environmental, Safety and Security good practices, to know, for their activities, the potential risks and their consequences, be there attentive, be reagent, and know the associated action plans.
