Job summary

Ultraviolette Automotive Private Limited is seeking a mechanical design engineer to create intricate assemblies for the vehicle platform, including mechanical cabinets and electrical sub-systems. You will model components in CAD, apply GD&T, and validate designs for manufacturability.

You will perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and design verification while collaborating with manufacturing, quality, and sourcing teams to resolve technical issues and support production readiness.

Qualifications

• Design mechanical cabinet, electrical components, and systems with GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Perform tolerance stack-up analysis, material selection, and design validation for performance and manufacturability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and project teams to support development and readiness.
• Hands-on DFMEA/PFMEA, DFx, RCA, and corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOMs and technical documentation.
• Support prototype development, testing, and product lifecycle management.
• Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Design the mechanical cabinet, Electrical component, part assemblies andsystems, Harness routing using CAD tools such as Siemens NX, SolidWorks withstrong knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
  
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance stack-up analysis, materialselection and design validation to ensure product performance, reliability, andmanufacturability.
  
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, sourcing, and project teams to supportproduct development, production readiness, and technical issue resolution.
  
• Hands-on experience in DFMEA/PFMEA, DFx, root cause analysis (RCA), correctiveaction.
  
• Prepare BOMs, technical documentation and support prototype development,testing and product lifecycle management while ensuring compliance with qualityand safety standards.
