Job summary

Swift is the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services. Based in Mumbai, we are seeking a senior strategic researcher to deliver industry analysis, identify growth opportunities, and provide executive-level insights for senior stakeholders across the organization.

• 10–12 years of experience in consulting, research, fintech or financial services is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of global financial services trends, competitive dynamics and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge of the Payments Industry is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into concise executive-level insights.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance research and productivity is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation) and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, external developments, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and evolving market structures across financial services.
• Develop strategic insights and recommendations that help Swift anticipate industry developments, identify growth opportunities, and assess potential risks.
• Translate complex industry developments into clear implications and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead or support strategic deep dives on key industry topics including payments, securities, trade finance, digital assets, AI, central banking, and financial market infrastructure.
• Support the development of Board, ExCo, and senior leadership materials, including strategic briefings, industry outlooks, thought leadership papers, and executive presentations.

Key Responsibilities
