Head of Software, Enterprise Solutions
This role leads a strategically important segment of S&P Global Market Intelligence’s Enterprise Solutions Software business, spanning Corporate Actions, Tax Solutions, and Cappitech. The portfolio combines managed data services and enterprise technology platforms that help capital markets firms reduce risk, improve compliance, and streamline complex post‑trade, asset servicing, tax, and regulatory reporting workflows.
About The Role
Grade Level: 15
Lead end‑to‑end commercial and product strategy for the Corporate Actions, Tax, and Cappitech product suite, driving growth, market positioning, pricing, client engagement, and strategic investment priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Own revenue growth, P&L performance, pipeline development, pricing, commercial models, and go‑to‑market strategy.
- Present product strategy and options for inorganic growth opportunities.
- Lead global pre‑sales activities, including RFPs, solution design, proposal development, executive client engagement, and deal strategy.
- Build trusted relationships with buy‑side, sell‑side, custodians, asset servicers, regulators, industry groups, and strategic partners.
- Align strategy, roadmap, execution, and investment priorities with Product, Revenue, Customer Experience, Operations, and Technology.
- Act as senior escalation point for key clients and represent the business in executive governance forums.
- Drive thought leadership and market advocacy through client engagement, industry forums, conferences, press, and social channels.
- Identify and scale growth opportunities across new markets, client segments, product adjacencies, AI‑enabled innovation, and partnerships.
- Translate market intelligence and client insight into product roadmap, commercial priorities, and investment recommendations.
- Build, develop, and lead a global team of subject‑matter experts across product management, revenue, and technology.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive commercial strategy, sales, or business development experience in capital markets with a proven track record of revenue growth and P&L ownership.
- Deep domain expertise across Corporate Actions, asset servicing, tax processing, regulatory reporting, post‑trade, clearing, and settlement ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics, client needs, competitive landscape, and AI’s role in improving coordination, governance, and value creation.
- Executive‑level stakeholder management and ability to influence senior decision‑makers.
- Global leadership experience, building high‑performing teams and fostering collaboration, inclusion, trust, and productivity.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and presentation skills, simplifying complexity and articulating compelling market narratives.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization with senior executive presence.
