Job summary

Swift is the world’s leading provider of secure financial messaging services. We seek a seasoned research and strategy professional to analyze industry trends and translate them into actionable recommendations for senior leaders.

In this role, you will conduct in-depth research on industry developments, regulatory changes, and market structures; develop strategic insights; and support board-level materials. A Bachelor's degree and 10–12 years in consulting or fintech are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, external developments, emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and evolving market structures across financial services.
• Develop strategic insights and recommendations that help Swift anticipate industry developments, identify growth opportunities, and assess potential risks.
• Translate complex industry developments into clear implications and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders across the organization.
• Lead or support strategic deep dives on key industry topics including payments, securities, trade finance, digital assets, AI, central banking, and financial market infrastructure.
• Support the development of Board, ExCo, and senior leadership materials, including strategic briefings, industry outlooks, thought leadership papers, and executive presentations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required;
• Minimum 10-12 years of experience in consulting, research, fintech or financial services is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of global financial services trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of the Payments Industry is essential.
• Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into concise, executive-level insights and recommendations.
• Experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance research, analysis, and productivity is desirable
• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation), critical thinking, and problem solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
