Job summary

3i Infotech Limited in Navi Mumbai invites a Senior Manual Test Engineer with 3-5 years' Banking Onboarding experience to join our digital platform team. You will conduct manual testing across frontend, API, and database layers, ensuring secure onboarding flows and reliable integrations.

You will work in an Agile environment, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and help maintain quality through meticulous defect tracking in JIRA and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–4 years of hands-on banking onboarding experience on digital platforms.
• Deep knowledge of onboarding architecture and integrations for liability and asset onboarding.
• Hands-on experience in frontend, database and API testing.
• Familiarity with authentication methods used in onboarding journeys.
• Experience with data mapping (FCR) for customer data and downstream vetting.
• Experience with medium to complex applications.
• Proficient in JIRA and Agile practices.
• Good communication and ability to collaborate with multiple Scrum teams.
• Nice to have automation knowledge to understand automation failures and reports.
• Quick learner and flexible to stretch to meet release deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute manual test cases for onboarding applications and workflows.
• Verify frontend, API, and database interactions end-to-end.
• Collaborate with developers, QA and product teams in Agile sprints.
• Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA and retest fixes.
• Assess authentication flows and onboarding integration points.
• Support release readiness and participate in risk-based testing.

Role: Senior Manual Test Engineer_ Banking Onboarding Application

Experience: 3-5 Years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 Days

Location: Navi Mumbai (Airoli)

Roles & Responcibilities:

1. Must be from banking domain with min. 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience specific to Onboarding application on digital platform
2. Must be aware of onboarding architecture and its integrations from both liability and asset onboarding standpoint
3. Must have hands-on experience of front end, data base & API testing in terms of design & execution
4. Must have knowledge of various authentication modes called in onboarding journey and its use cases
5. Must have hands-on experience in FCR to understand data mapping needed for customer data and vet downstream data once onboarding journey is completed
6. Must have worked on complex to medium sized applications
7. Should be well versed with JIRA tool
8. Should be good at communication
9. Should have worked in Agile methodology & be able to effectively communicate with different scrum teams
10. Good to have knowledge of automation so that he/she is able to understand the automation failures, reports & interact with automation team
11. Should be swift in learning
12. Must be accommodating in situations when expected to stretch to meet release deadlines
