Job summary

SBI Card is seeking a Testing Lead to drive key technology initiatives around middleware applications and ensure robust quality across the testing lifecycle. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with system capabilities and business goals.

The ideal candidate has hands-on testing experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide test environments, risk mitigation, and delivery of SIT results to stakeholders in a fast-paced financial

Qualifications

• Black box testing, database testing, and integration testing experience.
• Knowledge of KONY platform.
• Experience with QC/ALM or similar test management tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.
• Experience in developing and deploying automation suites using QTP.
• Experience with testing tools such as Quality Center/ALM, Load Runner, UFT/QTP.
• Experience with RPA tools like NICE, UI Path, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere.
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Java, .NET, C#, Python, VBA/VBS.
• Experience testing Web Services APIs with SOAP UI.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clarity around priorities and goal for the entire functional area.
• Work across functions with peers in other groups to ensure collaboration for shared goals.
• Work with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning.
• Determine, procure, control, maintain and optimize the test environment (hardware, software and network).
• Identify and isolate performance bottlenecks, defects and problems and provide advice/assistance to rectify issues.
• Evaluate the risk and make a risk mitigation plan.
• Timely deliver SIT results and Defect status to all Stakeholders.
• Scan the environment for latest testing techniques, strategies, testing tools/ test frameworks.
• Report on test status as well as reporting and escalating risks and issues appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to regular process documentation practices in compliance with the process guidelines.

Role Purpose
