Role Overview:

We’re looking for a hands‑on Chartered Accountant to step into a Senior Manager role and take charge of accounting, taxation, and compliance for a portfolio of clients. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys owning the full finance function from daily bookkeeping to year‑end filings while also mentoring a team.

What the role involves:

• Bring solid command over accounting principles, Income Tax law, and Companies Act provisions to the table.
• Apply working knowledge of TDS, GST, and Income Tax rules across client accounts.
• Work hands‑on in accounting platforms like Tally and Zoho, and guide the team through day‑to‑day entries.
• Own timely book‑keeping and month‑end closures, including entries tied to equity and mutual fund investments.
• Coordinate maker‑checker payment instructions with client banks.
• Drive year‑end Balance Sheet finalization and closing entries for corporate clients.
• Stay comfortable navigating MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office essentials.
• Manage multiple client relationships simultaneously while leading a team of reportees.
• Follow up with clients to ensure documents, vouchers, and supporting records come in on time each month.
• Handle year‑end Income Tax Return filings for both individuals and companies.
