Job summary

The Corporate Institute in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior Manager – Regulatory Compliance to interpret RBI and NPCI regulations and guide the products and processes to be compliant by design. You will work with Business and Product teams, bringing deep payments expertise, especially in Payment Aggregators, PPIs, and cross-border transactions.

The role requires hands-on regulatory implementation, strong analytical skills, and effective stakeholder management to ensure timely regulatory alignment

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post-qualification experience in payments or fintech.
• In-depth knowledge of RBI regulations.
• Experience implementing regulatory changes within product teams.
• Strong analytical and regulatory interpretation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Ability to assess regulatory impact on business processes.

• Monitor and interpret RBI and NPCI circulars, notifications and guidelines.
• Conduct regulatory impact assessments and provide actionable guidance to Business and Product teams.
• Act as a Regulatory Compliance SME for Product teams.
• Ensure new products and process flows incorporate applicable regulatory requirements and controls.
• Drive compliance with Master Directions covering Payment Aggregators, Cross-Border Transactions and PPIs.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to implement regulatory changes within defined timelines.
• Support regulatory reporting and compliance requirements.
• Manage and coordinate internal and external compliance audits.

Role Overview:

The Senior Manager – Regulatory Compliance will be responsible for interpreting complex RBI and NPCI regulations and working closely with Business and Product teams to ensure products and processes are compliant by design. The role requires strong expertise in the Payments ecosystem, particularly Payment Aggregators (PA), Prepaid Payment Instruments (PPI), and cross-border payments.

• Monitor and interpret RBI and NPCI circulars, notifications and guidelines.
• Conduct regulatory impact assessments and provide actionable guidance to Business and Product teams.
• Act as a Regulatory Compliance SME for Product teams.
