Job summary

SBI Card is seeking a Senior Manager - Regulatory Compliance & Audit to lead regulatory compliance and audit programs for the business. You will monitor developments, coordinate with regulators, and ensure timely, accurate reporting while guiding risk-based controls across functions.

Based in Gurugram, you will partner with cross-functional teams to implement regulatory guidelines, manage examinations, and drive assurance and reporting processes to support the organization's compliance posture.

Qualifications

• MBA in any discipline, LLB, or CS preferred.
• Experience in Financial Services Industry (FSI) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Role Purpose

Managing Regulatory and Statutory Compliance for the business including regulatory examinations and audits.

Role Accountability

Monitor industry regulatory activities and other trends (external and internal) through appropriate early warning systems in order to take pre-emptive actions. The activity includes: Tracking of regulatory notifications on regulatory web portals Review of applicability of a notification, directions, guidelines for SBI Card Tracking of implementation of applicable regulatory notifications/guidelines for reporting the implementation status in various senior management forums Proving inputs for the weekly regulatory newsletter issued by the Compliance department Competition Benchmarking from Compliance perspective Audits and Inspections Support timely submission of data/information for audit and regulatory examination Monitor implementation of audit recommendations by internal/external auditors and regulators and ensure its timely and effective closure Monitor timely submissions of various reports/returns/responses to RBI and other regulator by business functions.

Business Compliance

Business Compliance Partner with relevant functions as appropriate to drive various compliance program requirements by communicating relevant regulatory guidelines and reviewing Business Requirement Document from regulatory perspective Support SBI Card functional areas to deliver regulatory initiatives projects/New Product/Process initiative (NPI) Assist assurance team in preparation of annual assurance plans by sharing relevant regulatory changes implemented across the organization Assist in drafting of business representation to regulators Review Policies and Processes across function from Compliance and Regulatory perspective Drive reporting and timely completion of Regulatory Initiatives and escalation of issues to senior management Operate basis SBI Card guidelines and act on the operating guidelines/ recommendations received from the Board its Committees and Internal Management Committees Provide inputs/recommendations to cross functional project teams from a regulatory perspective

Measures of Success

No significant regulator penalties/fines Implementation of regulatory guidelines withing specified/agreed timelines Timely submission of query responses to regulators Cost adherence as per MOU Process adherence as per MOU
