Job summary

Sun Pharma in Paonta Sahib is seeking a Senior Manager Production (OSD) to lead manufacturing operations under Sun Global Operations. You will ensure quality systems, cGMP compliance, and timely delivery of products while coordinating resources and driving productivity.

The role requires B.Pharm or M.Pharm with 15–17 years of experience in pharmaceutical production. You will manage audits, change controls, and CAPEX reviews, and mentor a high-performing team to achieve budgeted targets and

Qualifications

• B.Pharm or M.Pharm degree.
• 15–17 years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical production.
• Experience in OSD/manufacturing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality systems and cGMP on shop floor.
• Ensure delivery of quality product.
• Coordinate internal/external customers and motivate team with resources (man, material, machine).
• Meet the budget requirement month after month.
• Maintain facilities and equipment through preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Promote harmonious industrial relations and improve productivity.
• Ensure compliance of internal/external audits and timely closure of audit findings.
• Initiate and review change control, deviation, recipe locking, SOPs and CAPEX material indent.
• Review batch production records, annual product review, and manufacturing/packaging instructions.

Key responsibilities

1. To ensure Quality system and cGMP on shop floor.
2. To ensure the delivery of the quality product.
3. To coordinate the internal and external customer and motivate his team by appropriate resources allocation (man, material, machine) so that team can deliver Quality product as per marketing team.
4. To meet the budget requirement month after month.
5. To ensure upkeep of building facilities, equipment through regular preventive maintenance, calibration and requalification.
6. To ensure the harmony of industrial relationship and to improve the productivity in continuous mode.
7. To ensure compliance of internal/external audit and to ensure timely adequate response of audit finding from the department to the auditor to close the issue highlighted by auditor.
8. To initiate & review Change control, Deviation, Recipe locking, SOP’s and CAPEX Material indent.
9. To review Batch production Record, Annual Product Review, Manufacturing & Packaging instruction and investigations record.
10. To follow all safety precautions during work.
