Senior Manager, Procurement (AI & IT Categories)

The Opportunity

A global, technology-driven organization is searching for a Senior Manager of Procurement to shape how it sources AI and IT solutions. This is a high-visibility role for a strategic sourcing leader who combines sharp analytics with strong negotiation skills and enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders to turn category strategy into measurable results.

You will own sourcing strategy for fast-evolving AI and technology categories, build strong supplier relationships, and help the business make smarter, faster, and more cost-effective decisions.

What You'll Do

• Lead sourcing strategy: Develop and execute strategies for AI and IT categories through competitive bidding, proofs-of-concept, demand management, supplier consolidation, and process reengineering, all aligned with category strategy and business goals.
• Manage supplier relationships: Build strong partnerships with key suppliers, negotiate and draft favorable contract terms, and hold suppliers to high standards of quality and service.
• Analyze the market: Research trends, risks, and opportunities across the supply landscape, and turn your findings into clear, compelling presentations that support sourcing decisions.
• Drive cost savings: Deliver savings initiatives that reduce spend without compromising quality or performance.
• Manage risk: Identify supply chain risks and build mitigation plans that protect business continuity.
• Collaborate across functions: Work with Business Function Leads, Category Leads, Third Party Risk, and Legal to negotiate General Services Agreements, Engagement Letters, and Statements of Work.
• Uphold compliance and ethics: Ensure all sourcing activity meets corporate policy, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
• Run day-to-day sourcing operations: Keep the engine running so the team can execute on strategy.

What You Bring

• 7+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a proven record of success in a sourcing and operations role
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, Technology, Data Science, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or Business Management (advanced degree in Business or a related field is a plus)
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate analysis into negotiation strategy and results
• Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to build clear, well-structured presentations that win stakeholder support
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and a collaborative, team-oriented style
• Proficiency with AI software products, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and MS Office
• A detail-oriented, organized approach, with a commitment to excellence and continuous improvement
• Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced environment, plus flexibility with working hours, as most of the supplier portfolio is based in the United States
• A track record as a change agent who can influence stakeholders through organizational and process change
