The Process Excellence Senior Manager leads a global team of Procurement Process Managers to drive enterprise‑level governance, standardization, process mapping, and continuous improvement across Global Procurement. This role provides strategic direction for end‑to‑end process excellence and ensures scalable, efficient processes that unlock quality, speed, and business value.
You will collaborate with process sponsors, owners, and cross‑functional stakeholders to define, simplify, and optimize critical procurement processes. Responsibilities include intake management, prioritization, process mapping, documentation, business value analysis, and disciplined execution of improvement initiatives.
A major focus of this role is to lead and manage Process Excellence team in developing, improving, implementing, and driving adoption of processes and procedures that support Micron‑wide sourcing and procurement decisions.
This role requires strong expertise in process management, strategic planning, governance, and stakeholder management in Global Procurement, with a proven ability to deliver measurable operational improvements. As a people leader, you will build team capability, foster a culture of accountability and innovation, and guide execution of initiatives aligned to Global Procurement’s strategic objectives.
Strategic Leadership & Execution
- Set the vision and strategy for Procurement Process Excellence across the GP portfolio, driving process excellence, simplification, and operational effectiveness.
- Lead strategic planning, prioritization, and governance for process initiatives, ensuring strong alignment with enterprise goals and PPDE leadership.
- Champion a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and best‑in‑class process management.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing Process Excellence team, allocate resources, set priorities, and oversee project execution.
- Build organizational process capability through coaching, standardized methodologies, and scalable best practices.
Portfolio & Operating Model Ownership
- Oversee Business Process Reviews to evaluate performance, risks, controls, and improvement opportunities across the GP portfolio.
- Strengthen and evolve the Process Excellence Operating Model, ensuring consistent frameworks, tools, and documentation standards.
Quality, Compliance & Audit Readiness
- Partner with Global Quality to support ISO/IATF audits and ensure all GP business processes adhere to Micron’s Global Quality BPM standards.
- Lead cross‑functional problem‑solving for customer or operational events impacting GP processes.
Governance, Value Delivery & Intake Management
- Oversee the GPCOE intake gateway, ensuring effective evaluation, prioritization, and routing of process requests.
- Maintain governance structures to track Business value realization, ROI, and performance of delivered work.
Process Simplification & Transformation
- Drive enterprise‑level process simplification, automation opportunities, and elimination of redundancies.
- Promote adoption of modern process frameworks, and continuous improvement practices.
Stakeholder Experience & SLA Management
- Ensure strong SLA performance, and high‑quality outcomes.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with business stakeholders, using feedback insights to refine processes and delight stakeholders.
Qualifications and Experience
- 12–15+ years of experience in Process Excellence, Business Transformation, or Program/Delivery Management in Global Procurement is mandatory, including extensive leadership experience within a multinational corporation.
- Strong understanding of Source to Pay Business Process, Lean/Six Sigma, and process optimization methodologies.
- Experience collaborating with global, cross‑functional teams.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable business value through process redesign and simplification.
Preferred Skills
- Expertise in process mapping tools (e.g., Celonis, Signavio, Visio, Miro).
- Experience working in a COE‑driven operating model.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of the business—understands not only the processes in a functional area but also how they fit into the system of processes and align to the company’s strategy and key priorities.

Education
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Desired — Master’s Degree in above or related fields.
- Certifications in Business Process Management and Supply Chain Management highly desirable.
