Job summary

Capitalmind in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Senior Manager PMS Operations to lead the PMS/Wealth Management operations. You will own end-to-end processes across onboarding, subscriptions, withdrawals, settlements and reconciliations, ensuring strong controls and regulatory readiness.

The role requires deep WealthSpectrum experience, strong analytics, and the ability to drive automation and process improvements while coordinating with Compliance, Finance, Investment and external partners.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant PMS/Wealth Management ops experience.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced PMS Operations professional to play a key role in leading the Operations charter for Capitalmind's Wealth Management business.

The role will have end-to-end responsibility across PMS operations, portfolio accounting, trade settlements, reconciliations, client servicing support, regulatory operations and process controls.

A strong working knowledge of WealthSpectrum is mandatory. We are looking for someone who understands the platform beyond routine transaction processing and can use it effectively to strengthen controls, improve operational efficiency and support scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee day-to-day PMS operations across the client and portfolio lifecycle, including onboarding, subscriptions, withdrawals, account changes and closures.
• Manage post-trade operations including settlements, cash and securities movements, broker/custodian coordination and resolution of settlement exceptions.
• Oversee portfolio accounting and reconciliations across bank accounts, demat/custody holdings, transactions, ledgers and portfolio records.
• Ensure accurate processing of corporate actions, valuations, expenses, management fees & performance fees.
• Act as a functional SME for WealthSpectrum, including transaction workflows, portfolio accounting, reporting, issue resolution, system enhancements and UAT.
• Ensure timely and accurate client statements, portfolio reports, operational MIS and regulatory reporting support.
• Work closely with Compliance and Finance to maintain strong maker-checker controls, audit trails, SOPs and regulatory readiness.
• Identify recurring operational gaps and drive process improvement, automation and reduction of manual dependencies.
• Coordinate with internal teams including Investment, Compliance, Finance, Client Relations, as well as brokers, custodians, banks and other external partners.
• Guide and review the work of junior Operations team members and help strengthen the overall operating discipline of the function.

What We Are Looking For

• 10+ years of relevant experience, with significant exposure to Portfolio Management Services / Wealth Management operations.
• Strong hands-on experience with WealthSpectrum.
• Deep understanding of the PMS operating lifecycle, portfolio accounting, trade settlement, reconciliations and corporate actions.
• Good understanding of the SEBI PMS regulations and operational requirements.
• Experience interacting with brokers, custodians, banks, auditors and other market intermediaries.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and exception-management skills.
• Strong proficiency in Excel; exposure to automation, APIs, SQL or BI tools would be an advantage.
• Prior experience leading teams or owning critical operational processes.

Preferred Background

MBA / relevant NISM certifications would be advantageous, but strong PMS Operations and WealthSpectrum experience will carry greater weight.
