Job summary

Flex, a leading global manufacturing partner, is seeking a Senior Manager – Planning to lead end-to-end supply chain planning at our Sriperumbudur site. You will direct planning processes, drive cost-efficient operations, and collaborate with executives, customers, and vendors to meet ambitious production goals.

The role demands 18+ years in manufacturing supply chain leadership, strong analytical skills, and the ability to govern complex contracts and budgeting. A BE degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of experience in manufacturing supply chain operations.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret complex documents.
• Ability to respond to sensitive inquiries.
• Ability to present to top management and boards.
• Bachelor of Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of supply chain processes.
• Oversee methods and processes for new and existing products.
• Review vendor and customer contracts outlining requirements.
• Review materials data analyses.
• Collaborate with senior managers on strategic plans.
• Lead supply chain managers and staff including budgeting and cost management.
• Engage with executives, customers, and vendors.
• Drive supply chain strategies to meet customer needs and cost competitiveness.
• Provide supplier management for product development and integration.

Job Summary

Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Manager – Planning located in Sriperumbudur

What a typical day looks like:

• Responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to supply chain management.
• Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods and processes in support of both new and existing products.
• Participate in the review of vendor and customer contracts by outlining requirements and considerations.
• Reviews materials related data analyses.
• Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives.
• Directs the activities of supply chain managers and staff and is responsible for planning, budgeting, and maintaining costs for a broad functional area.
• Interact regularly with executives, customers and vendors.
• Drives supply chain management strategies to deliver customer requirements and maintain Flex's financial competitiveness.
• Provides supplier management as related to product development and integration.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team

• Min 18+ years of experience in managing supply chain operations from manufacturing background.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
• Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
• Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
• Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
• Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference to practical situations
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
• Preferably candidate should have degree in Bachelor of Engineering.
