Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) Bengaluru seeks an experienced Senior Manager – Mechanical to lead engineering design and execution for large-scale semiconductor and pharmaceutical facility projects. You will ensure delivery of solutions meeting technical, quality, operational, safety, and regulatory requirements, and mentor engineering teams across multifaceted projects.

The role requires 15–18 years in relevant facilities, with strong EPC/EPCM exposure, cleanroom know-how, and cross-disciplinary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
• 15–18 years of mechanical engineering experience in semiconductor/pharma/manufacturing facilities.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project delivery environments and cleanroom facilities.
• Exposure to process utilities and safety/regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities across the project lifecycle.
• Design and execute HVAC, utilities, piping, cleanroom systems.
• Coordinate with architecture, process, electrical, and construction teams.
• Mentor teams and support capability development.
• Review deliverables to ensure compliance with specs and standards.

Senior Manager – Mechanical

Position Summary The Senior Manager – Mechanical will lead mechanical engineering design and execution activities for large-scale Semiconductor and Pharmaceutical facility projects. The role will ensure delivery of engineering solutions that meet technical, quality, operational, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage design and execution of HVAC, utilities, piping systems, cleanroom mechanical systems, fire protection, compressed air, vacuum, and process utility systems.
• Exp in handling toxic gases
• Coordinate with architectural, process, electrical, and construction teams.
• Review engineering deliverables and ensure adherence to specifications and industry standards.
• Support procurement, vendor evaluation, and technical bid reviews.
• Resolve technical issues during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with cleanroom requirements, and safety standards.
• Mentor engineering teams and support capability development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Master's Degree preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 15-18 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• Strong experience in Semiconductor Fab, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Facilities, Life Sciences, or Advanced Manufacturing projects.
• Experience in EPC/EPCM project delivery environments.
• Exposure to cleanroom facilities and process utility systems.
