Job summary

Adani Group's logistics division seeks a Cluster Logistics Lead to drive operational efficiency across coal distribution. You will coordinate with Railway operations, Mining, Security, Civil, IT and Finance to ensure targeted dispatches and budget compliance.

You will lead digitization initiatives, implement safety protocols, manage MIS data, and mentor a high-performance team to sustain excellence and employee engagement across the cluster.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, or related field
• Master's degree in logistics or supply chain management preferred
• 15 years of work experience in logistics or supply chain, with cluster or regional exposure

Responsibilities

• Oversee targeted coal dispatches for the cluster.
• Collaborate with HODs of Railway operations, Mining, Security, Civil, Electrical, IT, and Accounts departments.
• Manage operational expenses within approved budgets and monitor it on timely basis.
• Implement safety protocols across logistics operations for the cluster.
• Maintain regular interaction with the TPS team to ensure effective quantity and quality control.
• Resolve client inquiries (billing, inventory, sales, dispatch) and coordinate across departments to resolve issues.
• Oversee accurate data entry in MIS systems and maintain records.
• Liaise with Railway Division to ensure rake availability and address issues.
• Monitor and facilitate timely EDRM sanctions.
• Achieve annual budget targets and oversee procurement processes (PRs, SES, NIS).
• Ensure timely vendor invoicing and MIS reporting.
• Digitize and automate to enhance cluster-level logistics performance.
• Lead and mentor the team to foster a high-performance culture.
• Drive employee engagement and retention through development.
• Identify successors for smooth operations.

Purpose/Objective

• Responsible for overseeing operational efficiency and coordination across logistics, ensuring targeted coal dispatches, managing operational logistics budgets, implementing safety protocols, and driving automation initiatives.
• Also accountable for liaising with railways, achieving financial targets, leading digitization efforts, and fostering a high-performance team culture to sustain operational excellence and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Cluster Logistics Lead - Coal Mining Operational Efficiency and Coordination: Ensure achievement of targeted coal dispatches for the entire cluster.
• Collaborate with HODs of Railway operations, Mining, Security, Civil, Electrical, IT, and Accounts departments for smooth logistics operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Work Experience (Range of years): 15 years of work experience in logistics or supply chain management, with cluster or regional experience
