Role: Lead, IPC Planning & Governance (Quick Commerce)
The Planning team improves customer experience through inventory availability and placement that maximize delivery speed. IPC owns the norms, controls and governance that drive instock across categories.
About the role
You will own
- Instock delivery: Own instock % for Home, BGM and Grocery. Diagnose misses by root cause (norm, PO, schedule, vendor fill, network) and drive fixes.
- PO sufficiency: Ensure POs are raised in the right quantity and at the right time against demand and norms. Track PO coverage, open PO ageing and shortfalls, and escalate gaps before they hit instock.
- Scheduling: Ensure inbound and replenishment schedules (vendor appointments, SH to DS dispatch) match the plan. Track schedule adherence and fix slot and capacity constraints.
- Norms and MSTN: Own IPC norms, including MSTN, safety stock and DOH. Review norms regularly by category and node, and balance instock against working capital and aged stock.
- Vendor fill rates with BD: Align with BD on fill-rate targets, lead times and vendor performance. Run joint reviews, elevate chronic underperformers, and drive remediation or alternate sourcing.
- Governance: Run the planning cadence (weekly and monthly reviews, BAU and event readiness). Define KPIs, scorecards and exception processes. Hold stakeholders accountable to plan.
- Team leadership: Lead, coach and grow a team of planners. Set priorities, review quality of decisions, and build a strong analytical and automation culture.
- Risk and gaps: Call out supply risks early, especially ahead of BBD and peak events, and drive mitigation.
You should have
