Job summary

Navlakha Management Services is seeking a Manager/Senior Manager – Investment and Treasury to independently manage corporate treasury operations, optimize fund utilization and support strategic financial decisions.

You will oversee cash flow planning, investment analysis, liquidity management and banking relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance and robust risk controls. The role requires strong finance fundamentals and stakeholder coordination with senior leadership.

Hiring a manager/sr Manager - Investment and Treasury

Job Purpose

To independently manage corporate treasury operations, optimize fund utilization, oversee investments, ensure adequate liquidity and support strategic financial decisions through effective cash flow planning, investment analysis and financial risk management.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Treasury & Fund Management

• Manage daily treasury operations, cash flow forecasting, liquidity planning and effective deployment of funds.
• Monitor working capital requirements and optimize utilization of surplus funds.
• Develop short-term and long-term cash flow projections to support business requirements.

Investment & Portfolio Management

• Evaluate investment opportunities across mutual funds, bonds, fixed deposits and other financial instruments.
• Monitor investment portfolios, assess risks and returns, and recommend appropriate investment strategies.
• Prepare investment proposals, portfolio reviews and performance reports for senior management.

Banking & Risk Management

• Manage relationships with banks, financial institutions, fund managers and investment advisors.
• Negotiate banking terms, interest rates and investment-related charges.
• Monitor foreign exchange exposures, hedging requirements and financial risks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations and internal treasury policies.

Financial Reporting & Wealth Management

• Prepare treasury MIS, cash flow reports, investment summaries and management presentations.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, bankers and other financial stakeholders.
• Support promoter / family office investment management and wealth management activities, wherever applicable.

Educational Qualifications

• Essential: B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter or equivalent qualification in Finance.
• Preferred: Chartered Accountant (CA) / CFA / MBA (Finance) from a reputed institute.
• Additional qualifications or certifications in Treasury, Investment Management or Financial Markets will be an advantage.

Experience Required

• Manager: 39 years of relevant experience.
• Senior Manager: 9-12 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in corporate treasury, investment management, cash flow planning and banking operations.
• Candidates from pharmaceutical, manufacturing or large corporate organizations will be preferred.
• Exposure to wealth management / family office operations will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of treasury operations, financial markets and investment products.
• Expertise in cash flow management, liquidity planning and portfolio analysis.
• Sound understanding of banking operations, financial risk management and regulatory compliance.
