The role requires 12-15 years in interior design, with experience in healthcare interiors, and strong software skills in CAD and 3D visualization.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of overall experience in interior design and drawing coordination.
• Experience in luxury retail, boutique hospitality, or healthcare interiors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead interior design and drawing coordination for healthcare facilities.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, project managers, vendors, and teams.
• Ensure drawings meet healthcare norms, patient safety, and brand standards.
• Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, finish schedules, and vendor submissions.
• Site measurements, revisions, approvals, mock-ups, samples, and clarifications.
• Support material, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories selection.
• Resolve drawing coordination issues to reduce rework and delays.
• Conduct site reviews to ensure design intent is met.

Job Summary

Sukoon Health is seeking a senior Interior Design professional to lead interior design and drawing coordination for its psychiatric hospitals and alcohol & substance rehabilitation centres across India. The role focuses on developing patient-centric, functional, and premium interior environments, working closely with architects, consultants, project managers, vendors, and execution teams to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead interior design and drawing coordination for new and existing healthcare facilities
• Develop and review interior layouts, space plans, ceiling plans, flooring plans, elevations, and detailed drawings
• Coordinate design requirements with architects, consultants, project managers, vendors, and execution teams
• Ensure all interior drawings align with healthcare norms, patient safety, operational flow, and brand standards
• Review GFC drawings, shop drawings, material specifications, finish schedules, and vendor submissions
• Coordinate site measurements, revisions, approvals, mock-ups, samples, and design clarifications
• Support selection of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and accessories
• Resolve drawing and coordination issues during execution to reduce rework and delays
• Conduct site reviews to ensure execution quality matches approved drawings and design intent
• Maintain an organized design and drawing library with proper version control and documentation

Key Requirements & Competencies Education

Education:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Interior Design / Architecture from a reputed institution
• Institutions such as National Institute of Design, School of Planning & Architecture, Pearl Academy, or equivalent preferred

Experience

• 12-15 years of overall experience in interior design and drawing coordination
• Experience in luxury retail, boutique hospitality, or healthcare interiors preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
• Strong understanding of interior detailing, materials, finishes, furniture systems, lighting, and services coordination
• Ability to translate design intent into execution-ready drawings and coordinated documentation
• Good design sensibility with attention to quality, proportion, detailing, and finishing
• Strong coordination skills with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and external vendors
• Organized, process-driven approach to design documentation, approvals, and drawing control
• Ability to manage multiple projects, guide teams, and work in fast-paced expansion environments

Work Environment

• Corporate / Delhi based role within the projects function, with travel to project locations across India as required
• Collaboration with architects, project managers, consultants, vendors, and execution teams across corporate and site locations
• Multi-location healthcare expansion projects requiring periodic site visits, design coordination, and execution support.
