Job Title: Senior Manager - Intelligent Automation

Career Level: E

To support the continued expansion of the GBS Process Insights & Automation, we are seeking a Senior Manager - Intelligent Automation to oversee the generation, prioritization, planning, and delivery of an innovative pipeline of automation opportunities. The role requires a strong interest in innovative automation techniques, experience in team management and process change, and core skills in collaboration and organizational change. This will be combined with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across teams.

Accountabilities

1. Oversee the backlog of automation implementation projects, liaising with IT to manage supply and demand, and oversee execution.
2. Support business analysts by advising on automation requirements, identifying gaps and improvement areas, and acting as a point of contact for customer concerns.
3. Work closely with business analysts, IT, and solution engineers to supervise automation development, including assessing scope, advising on solution architecture, identifying dependencies, and collaborating on resource allocation.
4. Ensure quality assurance and oversee the project pipeline, managing demand, implementation success, and risks/issues.
5. Supervise adherence to SLAs, timelines, and standardized processes.
6. Collaborate with the Process Insights & Automation team and IT Delivery team to embed agile methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives.
7. Identify and evaluate new technologies and tools applicable to Intelligent Automation.

Essential Skills and Experience

1. Experience with RPA, Generative AI/Agentic AI, or other automation tools like BPM/workflow solutions.
2. Minimum of 3 years managing or delivering complex multi-functional automation solutions.
3. Knowledge of current Intelligent Automation and AI trends with the ability to advise on latest developments.
4. Excellent collaboration, influencing, and communication skills.
5. Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
6. Strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements.
7. Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
8. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Desirable Skills and Experience

1. Experience with change projects within the Pharma industry.
2. Experience working with Agile methodologies.
