Job summary

M&G India is seeking a dedicated professional to support IFRS17 production, data validation, and reporting analysis in Mumbai. The role involves producing engine inputs, reconciling cashflows, and managing reference data to enable accurate RA/CSM results.

You will interpret engine outputs, comment on period-over-period changes, and present clear insights to senior management while tailoring communications to diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Generating the input files for the IFRS17 engine along with the data checks and reconciliation of actual and expected cashflows.
• IFRS17 Reference Data Management and the production of the IFRS17 engine for RA and CSM result generation.
• Interpret and analyze results from the IFRS17 engine, tracking movements in lines across products.
• Provide commentary on changes from previous reporting periods, highlighting trends and anomalies.
• Present technical concepts and findings to senior management clearly and concisely.
• Ensure communications are tailored to the audience, aiding understanding and informed decision-making.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver results accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication.

IFRS 17 Production

Result Analysis and Commentary

• Interpret and make sense of the results produced from the IFRS 17 engine, analyse movements in individual line items for different products, including annuities, with-profit and other shareholder products.
• Provide commentary on changes from previous reporting periods, highlighting significant trends and anomalies.

Presentation and Communication

• Present technical concepts and findings to senior management clearly and concisely.
• Ensure all communications are tailored to the audience, facilitating understanding and informed decision-making.

Stakeholder Interaction

• Engage with key stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver results accordingly.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication.
