Senior Manager FP&A (AI Transformation Lead)
Company: The DataFlow Group
Location: Noida, India (Hybrid | Group Role with Dubai / Gulf overlap)
Experience Required: 10 - 15 Years (Post-Qualification)
Education: Qualified Accountant — CA / CPA / ACCA / ACA (Mandatory)
Role Category: Financial Planning & Analysis / Finance Transformation
Strategic Focus: Driving the AI-Led FP&A Transformation
From Prototype to Scale: Elevate our working AI prototype into a robust, repeatable, enterprise-grade FP&A platform.
Automation & Engineering: Replace static spreadsheets with a governed forecasting engine and live executive dashboards regenerated automatically from ERP and source-system data at every close.
Adversarial Review Discipline: Treat AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) as junior analysts—testing outputs line-by-line via hard-code hunts, stress tests, and automated validation logs to ensure 100% data integrity.
Pipeline Development: Partner with data engineers and external AI advisers to industrialize monthly reports into a scalable Python pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- 1. Group FP&A Leadership & Executive Decision Support
- Full Planning Ownership: Own the global calendar for annual budgeting, rolling re-forecasts, and monthly close-to-report cycles across all multi-entity and multi-currency operations.
- Executive & Board Reporting: Deliver executive P&L, unit economics (cost-per-check, per-client margin), cash flow forecasting, and debt covenant analysis directly to the CFO, Board, and Lenders.
- Single Source of Truth: Enforce metric governance across the organization—maintaining a unified data dictionary and eliminating parallel reporting versions.
- Commercial Business Partnering: Act as the strategic finance partner to segment leaders on pricing strategy, volume drivers, cost ownership, and investment cases.
- 2. AI Platform & Data Roadmap Ownership
- Data Integration: Drive Phase 2 feeds (ERP account $× cost-centre grain, CRM, platform, HR, and treasury feeds) to unlock granular per-client profitability models.
- Prompt & Script Management: Maintain and evolve financial prompt libraries, automated scenario/sensitivity tools, and build scripts.
- Strict Governance Standards: Enforce clear non-negotiables: no hallucinated numbers, explicit "Data Not Provided" flags, and fully documented calculation logic.
- 3. Team Leadership & Operations
- Upskill Team Capabilities: Transition the Group FP&A team into an AI-augmented operating model—automating mechanics so the team can focus on judgment, analysis, and strategy.
- Cross-Functional Ownership: Manage, chase, and close cross-departmental inputs (treasury schedules, facility agreement covenants, segment budget reconciliations).
What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)
- Fully Automated Close: The monthly close-to-dashboard cycle runs as a tested, repeatable pipeline with zero regression to manual spreadsheets.
- Unified Metrics: The legacy reporting pack is completely retired in favor of one agreed version of unit economics and client profitability.
- Covenant & Cash Automation: Debt service and covenant reporting (DSCR, leverage, liquidity) are automated directly from facility-agreement logic and treasury forward schedules.
- Bottom-Up Budgeting: Annual budgets are built bottom-up via the driver-based engine with in-tool sign-offs rather than lengthy email threads.
Desired Candidate Profile
Mandatory Criteria
- Qualification: Fully Qualified Accountant (CA, CPA, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent). Finalists or part-qualified candidates will not be considered.
- Experience: 8–14 years of post-qualification experience, including 4+ years in dedicated FP&A and 3+ years leading a team in a multi-entity, multi-currency international setup.
- AI & Automation Mindset: Demonstrable hands-on experience using Generative AI (LLMs like Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in real finance workflows, with strong prompt engineering and critical evaluation skills.
- Technical & Data Proficiency: Expert financial modeling capabilities (driver-based forecasting, sensitivities, unit economics). Working knowledge of Python and/or SQL to collaborate with data engineers and sanity-check pipeline code.
- ERP & Data Quality: Experience extracting, structuring, and reporting from raw GL exports (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills; capable of framing complex model outputs into executive summaries for the CFO, Board, and lenders.

- Background in Tech-Enabled B2B Services, Background Verification, SaaS, or high-volume transaction businesses.
- Experience working across split offshore/onshore teams (India–Gulf time zone overlap).
