Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings for the RI BU with accurate CWIP tracking and capitalization.
• Spearhead end-to-end budgeting and trend construction; manage OPEX and CAPEX allocations.
• Deliver MIS reporting and variance analysis; monitor KPIs including PO management and vendor payments.
• Advise RI teams on governance and drive internal controls and financial transformation projects.

A Day in the Life

As our Finance Controller based in Mumbai, you will act as the key financial co-pilot to the RI business unit, driving strategic decision-making and performance. Your core responsibilities include:

• Financial Stewardship Closings: Lead and guarantee the accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings for the RI BU. Drive precise tracking of Capital Work in Progress (CWIP) and capitalization.
• Budgeting Strategic Planning: Spearhead the end-to-end budget and trend construction process. Manage and optimize OPEX and CAPEX budget allocations to maximize resource efficiency.
• Performance Analytics MIS: Deliver high-quality MIS reporting and deep-dive variance analysis. Proactively track Risks Opportunities and monitor key financial KPIs (including PO management and vendor payments).
• Advisory Governance: Serve as a strategic financial advisor to RI teams. Ensure robust internal control compliance across the hub and actively drive special financial transformation projects.

We Are Looking For

• Qualifications: CA or CMA certified.
• Experience: Highly experienced (7+ years) in FPA or Finance Controlling.
• Industry: Proven background in FMCG or Pharmaceutical sectors.
• Skills: Strong analytical acumen, proficiency in financial systems (e.g., SAP, Excel), and excellent stakeholder management.
