Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Gurugram seeks a Facilities Manager to oversee engineering and maintenance of the company's office spaces, ensuring reliable operations and compliant facilities.

You will coordinate with vendors, manage preventive maintenance, monitor utilities, and support management with daily reports.

The role requires ensuring safety, efficiency, and alignment with client expectations while maintaining logs and incident escalation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee complete engineering and maintenance of the facility
  • Ensure 100% uptime of critical equipment
  • Coordinate with vendors for AMC services
  • Review equipment health condition and update management
  • Follow preventive maintenance schedules and PTRU tracker activities
  • Review M&E contractor maintenance practices to ensure quality
  • Track operating expenses of utilities
  • Maintain power supply, HVAC, furniture, UPS, plumbing, fire layouts and procedures
  • Coordinate with manpower vendors for replacements as needed
  • Collate data for FM reports (stock costs, energy and water usage)
  • Review maintenance activities and coordinate with vendors for preventive/breakdown maintenance
  • Escalate incidents promptly to concerned personnel
  • Maintain logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for M&E installations
  • Ensure work permits follow guidelines
  • Ensure contractors adhere to house rules and minimize client disruption

Qualifications

Roles and Responsibilities- Key responsibilities The Role is expected to proactively support associates. It is expected that through the formation of positive relationships and responsive service, it will gain a clear understanding of the business issues, and thus the ability to partner effectively in meeting the office sustenance needs.

  • Facilities

  • To oversee complete engineering and maintenance requirements of the facility

  • Ensure 100% uptime of all critical equipment’s

  • Coordinate with vendor for AMC services

  • Reviewing All equipment health condition and updating the management on timely manner

  • To meticulously follow PPM schedule and PTRU tracker works

  • Review the maintenance/service practices of M&E contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with the manufacturer recommendations

  • Tracking of operating expenses of utilities

  • Maintenance of power supply in the facilities, HVAC system, office furniture, general repair and maintenance, UPS, Plumbing, fire layouts and operational procedures.

  • Coordinate with manpower vendor for replacement in case of any manpower absenteeism.

  • Data collation for Stock Costs, Operating Parameters for equipment & utilities, statistics for energy consumption, water consumption and analysis for FM reports

  • To review the maintenance activities - to coordinate with vendors for all preventive, breakdown and emergency maintenance.

  • To ensure that all incidents are promptly escalated to concerned personnel.

  • Monitoring the M&E Consumables utilization & reordering

  • Ensuring the workorders are completed as per the SLA

  • Performing weekly FAS checking

  • Ensuring the annual shutdown activities are planned

  • Implementation of initiatives to improve operational efficiencies in facility

  • To provide inputs for daily report and other reports

  • Conducting staff briefings and trainings

  • Reviewing the SOP’s and ensuring the necessary changes are updated

  • Updating the Escalation Matrix as on when required

  • Supporting Events and Sr. Management visits

  • Responsible for submitting annual returns as per PCB norms

  • Maintain the logbooks, checklists and PPM schedules for all M & E installations;

  • Ensuring the Work permits are followed as per the guidelines

  • Ensure the contractors always follow the house rules and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client
