As Senior Manager - Engineering, you will lead teams that integrate LLM APIs and agentic AI capabilities into new and existing web applications and software platforms. You will play a critical role in driving team cohesion, ensuring seamless application functionality, enhancing performance and creating intelligent systems that can autonomously optimise business processes.

As Senior Manager - Engineering, you will lead teams that integrate LLM APIs and agentic AI capabilities into new and existing web applications and software platforms. You will play a critical role in driving team cohesion, ensuring seamless application functionality, enhancing performance and creating intelligent systems that can autonomously optimise business processes.

Working closely with product managers, data scientists and engineers, you will help refine user requirements, deliver AI-driven features and accelerate software development using generative AI tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional generative AI-focused software development team.
• Integrate LLM APIs into existing platforms to enhance user interactions, decision-making and automation capabilities.
• Enhance applications with agentic AI capabilities to enable autonomous decision-making and improve business workflows.
• Work collaboratively across product, data science and engineering teams to develop AI-driven features and optimise system performance.
• Utilise generative AI tools, including coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, to accelerate development processes.
• Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms, ensuring scalability, security and reliability.
• Stay current with advancements in LLMs, generative AI and cloud technologies, and apply relevant innovations to improve platform capability and performance.

Skills, Knowledge And Expertise

• Proficiency in Python, including frameworks such as LangChain, .NET (C#) and TypeScript, including React.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Node.js.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, including Azure AI Foundry or AWS Bedrock.
• Experience integrating LLMs and agentic AI systems into web applications, with a focus on automation and human-in-the-loop decision-making.
• Experience deploying scalable AI-driven web applications in cloud environments. Familiarity with integrating structured and unstructured data for knowledge bases and retrieval-augmented generation solutions.
• Strong team leadership capability with experience leading engineering teams in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem‑solving capability and the ability to troubleshoot AI integration challenges.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across product, engineering and data teams.
• Eagerness to stay current with advancements in generative AI, agentic AI and related technologies.
• Software development or engineering team leadership experience.
• Proven experience developing and deploying scalable web applications.
• Hands‑on experience integrating generative AI APIs and AI‑driven solutions into applications.
• Solid background in full‑stack development.
• Cloud infrastructure management experience is desirable.
• Degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology or a related discipline preferred.
