Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Concept/Basic/Detail engineering of Utility systems for mine projects.
• Prepare engineering calculations, PFDs, P&IDs, water balance and specs.
• Vendor discussions and technical evaluation for equipment.
• EPC tender preparation and interface with other departments.
• Apply value engineering and monitor design updates.

Job Purpose

The ERC Engineer - Process supports the ERC Lead - Process in engineering and designing coal washeries and mineral processing plants. This role involves assisting in process planning, equipment selection, documentation preparation, vendor coordination, and ensuring project efficiency and innovation.

Responsibilities

ERC Engineer - The Utility engineer position is mainly for the engineering and design of Utility system comprising of following:

Water Supply & distribution system, Pit Water Pumping system for Mining, Sewage Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, Dust Suppression, Firefighting system, Compressed Air System, Ventilation & Air Conditioning system, :-

• Concept/Basic engineering/Detail engineering of Utility system for mine projects.


• Responsible for planning, engineering and design for Utility system i.e. Preparation of Engineering calculations, Process Flow Diagram, Piping & Instrument Diagram, Water demand & balance report, technical specification, Bill of Quantity, selection of equipment like Pumps, Valves, Pipe, Compressors, Fans, Air conditions etc...


• Preparation of Process Flow Diagram, Piping & Instrument diagram, GA drawings, Bill of Quantity, Presentations, Detail Project reports,


• Preparation of Water demand & balance report, load list, design Basis, Civil Inputs etc.


• Preparation of Technical Specification of all bought out items.


• EPC tender preparation.


• Vendor discussion and communication for mechanical equipment and accessories, and new technology updates etc. Preparation of Technical Evaluation/Recommendation sheets for offers received from vendors.


• Value engineering- Implementation of new technologies, modification of designs and systems according to value analysis.


• Ensure the timely and proper interface detailing with other departments. Continuously update the team manager about the trend & innovations


• knowledge of MS Office, Autocad, Hydraulic calculations software like Pipe net or any other
