Biopatrika seeks a Senior Manager – Downstream Process Development for monoclonal antibodies in Bangalore to lead development, optimization, scale-up and technology transfer of downstream purification. The role demands deep Protein A purification, chromatography, viral clearance, UF/DF, and process characterization in a GMP setting.

Applicants should have 12–16 years of experience in biologics downstream development with MSc/MTech/PhD in relevant fields and a strong track record in GMP

Qualifications

• 12–16 years of downstream process development experience in biologics.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Protein A purification, chromatography and viral clearance.
• Experience with UF/DF, process characterization and GMP technology transfer.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, optimization, scale-up and technology transfer of downstream purification for mAbs.
• Drive process characterization and robustness studies to enable GMP-compliant tech transfer.
• Collaborate with Bioprocess R&D to implement scalable, robust downstream processes.
• Ensure quality and regulatory readiness through diligent documentation and data analysis.
