Job summary

Analog Devices is seeking a senior leader to drive pre- and post-silicon validation for mixed-signal audio edge processors with integrated Bluetooth. You will work with a multi-disciplinary team covering acoustics, connectivity, algorithms, and software engineering.

The role requires strong hardware design skills, HDL/assembly familiarity, and the ability to create clear hardware documentation for customers while delivering robust reference materials.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE degree with 15+ years of experience.
• Experience in pre- and post-silicon validation and board bring up.
• Hands-on hardware design knowledge; adept with oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies and logic analyzers.
• Strong fundamentals in protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Bluetooth, WiFi.
• Embedded systems programming knowledge; assembly language a plus.
• Strong technical communication with customers; experience creating hardware references and datasheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description

ADI’s ULP Audio Business Unit is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic leader to work with a multi-faceted team of individuals equipped with the knowledge required to create complete solutions, including aspects of acoustics, connectivity, algorithms, and software engineering.

Your main role will be to lead pre and post silicon validation of mixed signal audio edge processors with integrated connectivity such as Bluetooth in addition to product customer support. This position requires strong working knowledge of Analog (ADC, DAC, Power, and Audio) circuits, connectivity standards such as Bluetooth and embedded software development systems. Minimum Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE in Electronics/Electrical/Computers or equivalent degree with more than 15 years’ experience
• Strong experience in pre and post silicon validation and board bring up
• Hands on knowledge of hardware design and adept at usage of oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies and logic analyzers etc.
• Strong fundamentals in one or more protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Bluetooth, WiFi etc
• Working Knowledge of embedded systems programming with proficiency in assembly programming a nice to have.
• Comfortable in a leading technical communication with customer and experience in creating hardware reference documents and datasheets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Passion for Audio or Music
• Practical Audio experience in semiconductor or system company
• Experience with test equipment such as Audio Precision, NTi, HATS etc.
• Knowledge of signal processing techniques and digital audio including relevant interface protocols
• At least two years of experience in supervising and mentoring teams
